I promise that mom and dad have not pushed Obama on us, but both Cooper and I have developed a fascination with him over the past couple months. Ok… maybe they did teach us about 9 months ago to answer “what does Obama say” with “YES WE CAN!” but other than that, they’ve been pretty low key with us about this historic election. Despite this, we’ve recently noticed all the Obama signs in windows in San Francisco, and have developed quite an obsession with counting them and pointing out each one (!). In fact, Cooper and I were walking with Emma the other day on the panhandle to Golden Gate Park and having a chat with her about all the signs we saw. A nice couple stopped to ask if we were talking about Obama and we both shouted out “YES WE CAN!”

Needless to say, we charmed the socks off of them. :)
