Cooper's last night in a "little boy bed" Quinn's last night in crib

So, we’re told there is life BC (before cribs) and AC (after cribs). We can now say we’ve experienced both. When we went to Los Angeles (Los Angels to Quinn), we gave our first try at big boy beds and we were CHAMPS on the first night (partly due to threats of removing our pacifiers if we got out of bed!)!!! We really showed mom and dad what we’re made of, so our first night back home we slept in our cribs for the last time. Here’s our BC and AC shots. (note: bunk beds have been ordered, but mom and dad have not put them together yet.

in his element

whoa – what a week! and it’s not even over! mom says the toys are outta hand, but i think it’s just about right. opening a new present every day is the way i like to live my life. mom and dad thought that it was best not to give us all the presents we got from party goers in one day, but now we’re starting to wonder if the daily trickle is actually worse! at least we can have just one day of fighting over every toy versus dragging it out over the course of a MONTH! regardless, i bet every kid in the world wants to be us about right now… and i don’t blame them.

jammin ’bout right now,
quinn

p.s. perhaps i should come up with a song about daily presents… ok, i’ll get cranking.

p.p.s. below is a pic of my bro with one of his favorite new toys – a laptop!

Birthday Boys

Ok – our party was SICK! We had such a blast with all of our friends. we all met at alta plaza in san francisco on a beautiful day. Grown ups sipped mimosas while we all dug our fingers in the coolest guitar and trumpet cakes we’ve ever seen and blew bubbles. It was RAD! Below are just a few photos, but if you’d like to see the full set, click here. It was sooo fun to see everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH for playing with us and celebrating our birthday.

My, oh my… can’t believe 3 years has passed. In some ways it feels like yesterday that I was being shoved around by Quinn in mom’s belly (yes, still dealing with it), and in some ways i feel like i’m 30. yes, i’m very mature and focused for my age, but i’m allowing myself to play the part of a 3 year old – at least for now.

The birthday celebration was kicked off right when Sanja came to the house with birthday muffins! Ok, ok, i’ll admit i got a bit scared by the fire, but then I rallied and blew the candle out in the first try! Quinn, on the other hand… well, no need to throw him under the bus. I’ll let him brag about his candle blowing skills in the next post…

So… I’m told I’m too young to get all the details on the Spitzer ordeal at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel a couple months back, but know that he was up to some sassy shenanigans… It just so happens that mom is away on business tonight in DC and staying at the SAME HOTEL. She’s not even in DC for 24 hours, but did mention that she’s got some “free time” tonight. uh oh. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddd!

but still so so so so cute.
