Tis the season for sharing. BOO!!! Mom and dad are constantly trying to teach us to share, but it’s not working out real well. The sooner they realize that we call the shots, the better off we will all be. The only part of sharing that we liked this weekend was the opening of gifts. Four hands can unwrap a gift in 2 seconds flat (the competitiveness makes things fly by!), where we struggle a bit on our own.

Since we have so-many-toys, Santa decided to go light for us this year and got us a couple great books (apparently mom and dad called him in advance to tell him NO BIG GIFTS). That’s not to say we went without. Geesh – did we ever score. We got gifts from friends and family all over the place and were so overwhelmed on Christmas that we had to spread out the fun – I think we opened a new gift every 2-3 hours – so “Christmas morning” lasted ALL day. That’s the way to go.

Happy holidays!

Mom was feeling particularly outnumbered tonight, and decided to throw some “ponchos” on us. :) Good thing we are comfortable with our masculinity!

UPDATE: These are FlyingPeas items, not actually purchased for us. Mom hasn’t gone that coo-coo.

We did it again. But this year, given our recent hospital visits, we had to make EXTRA sure Santa wasn’t carrying any other “kid germs” (we’ve all seen the news shows about germs in hotel rooms – imagine what’s on poor Santa!) So, dad called Stonestown Mall – our new favorite place – to ask if he could pay Santa’s hourly rate to come in before his scheduled time so we could get a picture taken with him before the other kids puked, pooped and spit on the poor guy.

Not only did Santa take time away from the North Pole to cater to us, but Stonestown Mall gave us a FREE photo package and a bunch of holiday goodies. We were blown over by their generosity and willingness to help. Props to Stonestown!

As you can see in the picture, we were a little stunned by the whole thing. One minute we were in the comfort of our stroller and the next minute we are thrown on a big red and white fluffy suit with a guy saying “ho ho ho.” Maybe next year, we’ll remember what a nice guy he was and flash a smile at the camera.

Fun times,
Quinn

So… mom was packing up a bunch of FlyingPeas packages to send to customers and “accidentally” put US in a box. She was ready to ship us off to some lucky winner until Cooper and I flashed our charming smiles her way… Moments later, we were bustin to “wheels on the bus” hip hop style (more detail: mom was doing her shake-her-booty dance that we LOVE, and we were doing the knees-bent-arms-in-air signature move).

Packin up!
