the dreadntist

Dentists get a bad rap. It definitely wasn’t as bad as the other kids said it would be. Funniest part was that mom had to answer the question “how do you think your child will handle this visit” on the registration forms and she said that Quinn would likely not be very cooperative, and that I would be perfect. Well… we set out to prove her completely wrong. Quinn sat in a near-trance while getting his teeth brushed/cleaned, while I decided to show my “spirited” side. The good news though is that we got through it, got a toy for our good behavior, and now have real toothbrushes so we can brush daily (we are almost 1.5 years old, and mom and dad had never properly brushed our teeth – it just didn’t occur to them!).
